BYU men's vb could be No. 1 on Monday 1-29

>No. 5 Pepperdine pulled off a 3-0 shocker over top-ranked UC Irvine on Saturday, winning 30-26, 30-27, 30-23 in just 85 minutes. That opens the door for undefeated and No. 2 BYU to move into the top spot. The Cougars swept both matches in this weekend's Outrigger Invitational in Hawaii, beating Eastern power Penn State 3-0 and Midwestern contender Loyola-Chicago 3-0.

Francisco Proves NFL Wrong

Story about former BYU safety Francisco, who did terrible at the combines, went undrafted, got on practice squads, cut several times, but finally "wound up playing on special teams and defense, collecting 41 unassisted tackles and two interceptions" and was named "an alternate to the Pro Bowl team as a special teams player."

A lot of hard work might just get you over that hump.

Bower to Transfer

BYU Coach Bronco suggested to former highly-recruited QB Bower (3rd string) that he move over to linebacker. Obviously BYU has plans for another QB (ASU transfer Max Hall). Bower elected to leave BYU and go to a junior college in hopes of being recruited by another team to play as QB.
